Primary Purpose of Position:
As a member of the Global ODM team, responsible for the ODM (Other Direct Materials) strategy and execution within the BPNCA region. Implementation of plans to drive total cost reduction and change management initiatives meeting Ball Corporation’s overall plans and objectives.
Responsible for BPNCA’s ODM sourcing strategy, aligned with the Global ODM sourcing strategy.
Leads cross functional activities to deliver overall sourcing strategy for the given category meeting the regions current and future requirements.
Manages supplier relationships and implementation of new and continuous improvement plans.
Supplier RFI, RFP, analysis, negotiations and contracting for a complex expense category.
Responsible for tracking the financial performance of the assigned category.
Maintains a good understanding of current and new technology, manages plans regarding qualifications and implementation.
Coordination across other Ball functions ensuring adequate specifications documentation.
Deployment of KPI’s measuring the success and control of the sourcing activities.
Must build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or graduate level education or work-related experience
Job related experience for 10 year(s) minimum
Working Knowledge of the following areas: Purchasing Principles procedures and practices; business practices; legal practices; customer needs and expectations.
Strong negotiating skills and understanding of total cost sourcing.
50% of travel
