Senior Analyst – Project Controls
In this role you will serve as an Administrator to ECOSYS EPC product and will develop enhancements, provide training, work with SBU’s to identify areas for improvements, and fix configuration errors. You will also be responsible for assisting with recurring Operations and Maintenance of the software on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
What You’ll Do
Support Project Controls Tools and Processes organization. Includes development, test, implementation, documentation, and training of tools used to support Project Controls functions.
Perform the following principles, concepts, practices and standards in accordance with the policies and procedures related to Project Controls:
Ensure that programs are compliant with regulatory requirements and conducted in accordance with Ball Aerospace best practices.
Provide administrative support for other tools like Excel, Empower, and other Financial Related tools.
Occasionally support pricing efforts during surge times when resources may be limited.
Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the SBU/SSU and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Perform other duties as necessary.
What You’ll Need
BS/BA in a related field plus 8 or more years related experience.
Each higher-level degree, i.e. Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Two years of related experience may be substituted for each year of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
Strong user of tools like Excel. Should also have experience in Visual Basic for Excel.
Experience working with the administrative configuration of database based tools like ECOSYS, MPM, Costpoint, Cognos, and/or other database products.
Strong business acumen and experience with defense contracting.
Experience with ECOSYS EPC is a plus.
VBA Coding experience is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Customer service skills are a must.
Work is performed in an office environment.
Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
Successful applicant for this position must be eligible to obtain a DoD clearance or government customer access to classified/sensitive material. A current DoD clearance is not required to be eligible for this position, however the successful applicant will be required to obtain a DoD clearance or government customer access within a reasonable time after the offer is extended and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance. *US Citizenship is Required.
